SPEED SISTERS WORLD PREMIERE
Speed Sisters is a feature doc I helped shoot in the West Bank, Palsetine. It’s about the first all female motor racing team in the Middle East. The film will have its world premiere at the Doha Youth Film Festival on 1st December.
VENICE FILM FESTIVAL
Just back from Venice film festival, where “THEEB” won Best Director in the Horizonte section. The film is written, directed, produced and edited by two of my oldest friends, Naji Abu Nowar and Rupert Lloyd. Congratulations!

Very pleased to share that I have been selected for the Guiding Lights mentorship scheme 2013. Guiding Lights is the UK’s leading mentorship program for feature filmmakers. I now have to choose a mentor and persuade them to mentor me!
IN THE BUSH
Have spent 4 weeks in the Kenyan bush making a film about the elephant poaching crisis for the amazing Big Life Foundation.
DP’ing A FILM FOR THE ROLLING STONES
Have been DP’ing a Rolling Stones doc for director John Hillcoat (The Road / Lawless). The 5’ film will play in stadiums on the ‘Stones 50th anniversary tour before the band comes on stage. It features a mixture of famous and less famous (though no less fanatical) fans. The other day we interviewed Elton John
SHOOTING IN THE WEST BANK
I’ve just returned from a week in the West Bank, DP’ing a feature doc about the Middle East’s first all female speed racing team. It was an amazing experience, and reminded me why I first wanted to make documentaries. Film will be out next year.
TV COMMERCIAL FOR SAMSUNG
I just shot my first television commercial for the UK market. It was for a Samsung camera and featured 140 real people who were actually called David Bailey (after the famous photographer).
DP’ing A FEATURE DOC ON KIDS WORLD GOLF TOUR
Just back from DP’ing a feature documentary following the best under 7 golfers in the world. We shot at a championship in Edinburgh for a week. There was some serious talent on show, and some even more serious parents, as you can imagine. Watch this space for the finished film!
